The usage of digital media is getting increase to help the work of people. Since, it can make the work easier by providing some very useful tools and software. I just read about the general characteristics of digital media and it can make me more realize about its characteristics.

The technologies developed so fast. It depends on how we use the technologies itself. If we cannot use it wisely so we only will get the negative effect. We also need to be more careful in browsing the resources in internet because if we do not know the rule of taking resources so we can be called plagiarism. It is a big criminality in education world so we need to avoid that.

Some software also can help the teaching and learning process. Nowadays, we can find some software for education purpose which can be used to make the learning process better. By using the technologies, like online media it can safe our time because the process can run directly and faster.

In this 21st century, we really need the technologies because it became a part of our life. Sometime, I think that maybe I cannot live without those technologies. This is the simple example, we all have mobile phone(s) and then it must be taken away from us. I am pretty sure that it would be harder for us in doing this life. The other example is when we use Powerpoint to present something to people then we have to try to grab their attention. It can help because there are some features that can make our presentation to be more interesting. So, we are the lucky people who can live in this century.
